Harmony for Christmas
(2024)(The fourth book in the Dansboro Crossing series)
A novel by Avery Samson
Nothing good ever blows in with a storm.
Until she did.
Snowstorms are rare in my part of the world. This one promises to be a big one. Doesn’t matter, though, it’s just another quiet day at the ranch. I’ll check the cattle, feed the horses, and spend a quiet evening reading on the couch. That’s before two arms wrap around me while I’m making breakfast.
I knew my little brother blew in and back out the night before. What he failed to tell me was he left behind a present. From her blond curls to her fuzzy socks, she screams trouble. It’s fine though, I can behave myself. Then she begins to talk, and talk, and talk. I should be irritated, but somehow, it’s not so bad.
My life is a whirlwind. Ever since I stood on that stupid park bench and belted out a song by one of my favorite artists, my star has been on the rise. Now, though, I could use a break. Dont get me wrong. I love writing music, touring with the band, and meeting new fans. But Christmas is coming and I’m just homesick enough to accept an invite home from an old friend.
He failed to remind me that we were actually staying in his older brother’s ranch house. Which is the only reason I find myself hugging the stuffing out of a stranger in the kitchen the next morning. How could I forget about the other brother? Especially when he looks this good? He’s so grumpy though. Well, I’ll just have to fix that.
What could possibly happen trapped in a Christmas snowstorm in the middle of nowhere with the grumpy cowboy? Everything if it’s up to me!
Genre: Romance
