The Shoestringers

Benjamin Trout, foreman of the K/K Ranch, has been cut loose for being too old - while Eddie 'Dink' Guest, a new hire, has been fired for being too young. With nowhere to go, both ride out together to seek work elsewhere. When they encounter widowed Beth Robinson and her daughter Minna in the wilderness, they are invited back to the women's ranch - and become the Robinsons' allies in the struggle to save their land from the predatory Cyrus Sullivan.
