Shoot-out at Owl Creek

Kell Bannon went into the Big Bend country of Texas with a law star in his pocket and a gun in his holster to set up the Parfitt outlaw gang for capture. He knew the outlaws would never surrender and was prepared for a shoot-out. But there was more than just a gang operating around Clarkville, for Sheriff Bixby was crooked. Colonel Maddock ran his sabre outfit like a military establishment, but his ranch foreman, Al Piercey was too aggressive for his own good. And then there was Max Jex, who bossed the local rustling business! It was a tough chore for Bannon but he went into it with his eyes open, aware that only his deadly gun and quick shooting could bring about a satisfactory result.
