David J. Schow writes short fiction, films, nonfiction, novels, and TV, roughly in that order of preference, from his home in the Hollywood Hills. His screenplay credits include Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3, Critters 4 and 5 and The Crow. His latest books are Eye, his fifth short story collection (Subterranean Press) and Wild Hairs, a collection of essays and columns (Babbage Press). Dave and his wife, Christa Faust, live in Los Angeles.
