(1982)
(The second book in the Sabat series)
A novel by

Mark Sabat, ex-priest, SAS-trained killer, exorcist, is a man with a dreadful mission. Driven and haunted, he has to seek out and destroy his mortal enemy. An enemy who has been chosen the Left Hand Path, who embodies the eternal principle of Evil. An enemy who is his own brother. "Who are you?" she whispered. "I am the Fuhrer!" Those eyes took on a maniacalm fanatical gleam. "A reincarnation of he who died before his work was finished. Adolf Hitler! And I have my enemies just as he had them then, in a past life. And those enemies must be destroyed if the Desciples of Lilith are to rule supreme." Alone with Death, she did not die easily. Terror and blood, her own blood, washed over her. Blood, spattered and congealed, stained the cold walls of the cellar. Later, too late, Sabat found her. Stood shaking with fury and with desolation for she had been good and true friend to him. Stood and vowed vengeance.
