Amish Hope and Second Chances

Emma lost her husband three years before, and had yet to fill the desperate void he left. She was to spend a few months in her cousin's community, to help her during the last months of her pregnancy, until the new boppli was a little older. Amos and Mary were thrilled that she had agreed to stay with them and help out for so long, since Mary had suffered terrible tragedy.

Jeremy had taken care of his younger brother, Noah in the years after they had lost their parents. Then more heartache came to him, and he saw no way of recovering. Once he thought he had a chance to recover, but the Ensgliscer world he had very nearly given up his faith, family and friends for, devastated him when the girl he thought he loved had cheated on him. Now he was back among the Amish, with the community none the wiser as to his life in the English world.

Jeremy's past arrives in Holmes County, to confuse Emma and to complicate their lives even further. When Mary has a bad episode, perspectives are altered and everyone involved is forced to view their worlds and their part with new eyes.

Could Jeremy and Emma have found their destiny in each other. Or will their pasts keep them apart?
