On a lonely island in a Scottish loch, Donald Grant and his wife Kay are staying with his aunt and uncle, and their daughter Janet.

Three desperate men, looking for a hide-out have also come to the island.

Bull, Fred and Joe are gunmen on the run from a robbery, and filled with a seething mistrust for one another.

Finding themselves in a dangerous situation, Donald and Kay desperately try and find ways to escape from Bull and his cronies.

When visitors come and go, Kay and her family are split between protecting their loved ones, and trying to signal for help.

In a story full of fear, violence and conflicting emotion, will the three men be able to stay hidden from the police?

Or will the Grant family manage to betray them?
