A Pity It Wasn't George

Peter Wilde arrives at a preparatory school for boys to fill a vacancy caused by the sudden death of one of the masters - a death which, although apparently accepted as accidental by the police, is interpreted in a more sinister light by at least one of Peter's new colleagues. Days later, a neighbouring farmer is found murdered and, because there is known to be bad blood between the farm and the school, members of the staff are questioned. Then, a third death adds to the mystery...
