Three high school girls murdered in a school year is hard enough to accept. Add a character from a computer game breaking through to his real life and Matt, a closed off, seventeen-year-old honors student, is as baffled as he is alarmed. Yesterday, Ruaun3 was just his favorite game and mental escape; today, he discovers it may be a real and very dangerous place in the year 2813. With the help of Sirena, his ultimate fantasy girl of Ruaun3, he's able to travel there for short stints, but the era is one of ruthlessness and rebellion. Matt’s own world has its share of death and destruction, and as he is drawn into the mystery of a serial killer at large, another plot looms that may be even more destructive.
