ABOUT DARK MATTERS
A Milk Run to the Cyonid colonies involves much more than expected, and
Apollo has a most unwanted guest aboard from the Dark Side. Is it a scout, a spy or an assassin? Captain Ryan takes command of a squadron of seven SS Black Ship cruisers to watch over the outer colonies, but his first mission is to look homeward with a mission to Barnard’s Star, now renamed Daedalus after the ship that left Earth for that star 50 years earlier. He discovers the fate of the ship and crew on a forsaken world, hidden in the perpetual darkness of a tidally locked planet.
On Dharma-6, the Scorpios return to make a second attack on the Safe Zone, and the Earthforce Marine Garrison has a battle on its hands. Then, EARTHCOM wants DSC-108 swept and cleared for future use, and both Troyak and Captain Ryan lead Squads to board the ship. Fedorov and Karpov discover how the Shadows are using the Beckermen, and then get reports of a strange contagion that has befallen a small village in Norway near Trondheim. Have the Shadows finally discovered the location of Earth? Now Fedorov and Director Kamenski join heads to run a mission to investigate a strange illness in Norway. Is it the Borani-1 Colony Virus? The fate of Humanity will rest on the answer to that question.
