A Milk Run to the Cyonid colonies involves much more than expected, and Apollo has a most unwanted guest aboard from the Dark Side. Is it a scout, a spy or an assassin? Captain Ryan takes command of a squadron of seven SS Black Ship cruisers to watch over the outer colonies, but his first mission is to look homeward with a mission to Barnard’s Star, now renamed Daedalus after the ship that left Earth for that star 50 years earlier.
