The Baron Decision

Baron Decision follows the Baron family after the last battle of the Civil War was fought in Texas, nearly a day after Lee surrendered and officially ended the war. The Barons then go back to their ranch and try to rebuild their business and their lives. Father and son find themselves not only trying to build their ranch up again after the devastation of the war, but they need to build their relationship as well. Sherman has a way with prose and his characters are mulit-faceted and interesting. His story is gripping.
