Maverick Mistress

When Jared Bolt first hears beautiful Laurette Armand singing at the Prairie Schooner saloon, he has a hard time keeping his obvious enthusiasm from showing. Determined to have her perform nightly at his Rocking Bar bordello, Bolt makes Laurette a generous offer and the sultry French songbird eagerly accepts his stiff proposition. But the Schooner's boss, Monte Calhoun, refuses to take his singer's defection lying down, hiring an out-of-town gun to blow away the competition and ruin the curvaceous chanteuse's grand opening.
