Cal Shepard and his elite black-ops team thought they were embarking on a quick retrieval mission in Africa. Until an EMP device is activated and severs their cord back to civilization.
After receiving an urgent mission prompt from Perseus, Cal Shepard and the Critical Response Team are off to the remote wilderness of eastern Namibia to retrieve a downed Russian satellite. Only this is no ordinary satellite...it’s equipped with a weaponized EMP device that the Kremlin wants back at any cost.
Just before reaching the crash site, the EMP is activated by a tribal militant in the Kalahari Desert, rendering all of CRT’s tech, comms, and their link to Perseus useless. Now, their only chance is to trek north across the open desert to the small town of Nema near the Angolan border.
