Kelly Simmons recommends
The Good Women of Safe Harbour (2022)
Bobbi French
"So vividly imagined, it was as if I carried the characters' worries and hopes in my own heart. Set in an unforgettable landscape, brimming with insights, Bobbi French's warm, honest prose makes even the most tragic secrets and events shimmer and lift."
Everything We Didn't Say (2021)
Nicole Baart
"Dark family secrets, the spark of never-forgotten romance and an unsolved double murder from the past, pitting landowners against landowners. The elements in Nicole Baart’s latest novel combine seamlessly to provide the atmospheric tension of a crime story and the emotional depth of a family drama. Meticulously plotted and beautifully written."
No Woods So Dark as These (2020)
(Ryan DeMarco Mystery, book 4)
Randall Silvis
"The rare crime novel infused with both darkness and light. The characters are so real I expected to meet them for a drink at the end of the day."
