The Witch Child

Jalinda is taken to her grandmother's isolated cottage after her parents died of the Plague. Her granny doesn't want her but there is no one else to take the child. Driven to using her powers to make cures for the villagers to feed the child, Granny brings on the hatred of superstitious people. When she is seized as a witch it looks as if they will turn on Jalinda next but someone comes in time to save her from drowning. How can any of them know that she will cause the family that takes her in so much pain. Can Jalinda ever find happiness?
