Daughters of Artemis

Thrown off the deck of a floundering ship as a sacrifice to Poseidon, Helle, a young princess, somehow manages to survive the angry seas. Washed ashore on a beach near Troy, she is adopted by a tribe of Amazons - horsewomen who live apart from men and ride into battle with bow and sword. As she travels with the Amazons in search of her family, Helle learns an important lesson: in this wild and rugged land, her royal blood is a liability - something that might get her killed. Helle has a unique talent, granted by the gods. In her dreams and visions, she can catch glimpses of the future. But will these visions lead to a reunion with her mother and brother, or is Artemis, goddess of the hunt and patron of the Amazons, merely using Helle as a pawn to accomplish her own ends?
