I Could Live Here Forever (2023)
Hanna Halperin
"I was immediately gripped by Hanna Halperin's stunning novel, I Could Live Here Forever. With a frank assuredness reminiscent of Sally Rooney and Emma Cline, Halperin balances a close lens over both the anxiety and hopefulness of the Millennial viewpoint, bringing so much that has come to define the generation - the opioid crisis, economic and occupational precarity, the uncanny intensity of intimacy expressed on a smartphone - into stark relief. I felt so much heartbreak and fear and frustration for Leah and Charlie, whose love affair was as irresistible to me as it seemed to the characters themselves. This is a book that will stay with readers, and make them feel alive."
Advika and the Hollywood Wives (2023)
Kirthana Ramisetti
"Advika and the Hollywood Wives is my favorite kind of novel: smart yet unassuming, entertaining, and deeply compassionate. With sharp characters and complex insight on fame, ambition, love, and loss, Kirthana Ramisetti has given us a page-turner for movie buffs and book worms alike."
The Honeybee Emeralds (2022)
Amy Tector
"Amy Tector's gorgeous writing had me hooked from the first pages of The Honeybee Emeralds. This propulsive, atmospheric novel whisked me off to the bustling streets of Paris; I could feel the cool shadows on the walkways of Place Vendome and smell the old letters and books in dark European archives while following Alice's discovery of the honeybee necklace and her adventure as she, along with a stellar cast of supporting characters, delved into the necklace's storied past. Prepare to be mesmerized by this gem of a debut."
