Among the Lesser Gods (2017)
Margo Catts
"Smart, unsettling, and meticulously composed, Margot Catts's debut novel affirms the power of narrative to redeem . . . The assaults of the past on the present, of badly buried guilt that keeps one from knowing how to live; the ways in which ordinary wisdom proceeds from the shadow of tragedy; the essentiality of family and community to all manner of healing--these are just a handful of the themes weaving through this unforgettable tale of accidental salvation."
Escape Velocity (2016)
Susan Wolfe
"Instantly addictive and disconcertingly credible, Escape Velocity will send the unwary reader pell-mell through the mazy proceedings and gamesmanship of corporate Silicon Valley. If the adrenaline rush isn't enough, then the endearing vigilantism (often based on perhaps a few too many moral shades of gray) will close the deal...I never knew how much I wanted to know about the legal and economic ins-and-outs of the tech industry until Susan Wolfe, uniquely positioned to illuminate both, decided to write this exhilarating novel."
