(The sixth book in the Gift series)
A novel by

They say he’s the Second Coming; that he’s immortal.
Is he really a heaven-sent prophet, or is he just someone else’s dirty work?

Kris Chambers and the team have only just returned home when news of an armed attack on a pharmaceutical facility becomes lurid national news. A grainy, handheld video of a burning hole in the side of a secure facility, and a mysterious, shadowy figure taking numerous bullets to the chest, only to rise again and fight.

Their most fruitful lead takes them to Colorado, where a devoted follower – a so-called disciple – is incarcerated in supermax federal prison. With no other options, Kris sneaks into the prison, intending to speak to him man-to-man.

He soon hears tales of a formerly paralyzed conman, blessed with the miraculous ability to walk again and superhuman powers. A man who inspires perfect loyalty from his followers, and the shamelessness to call himself the Second Coming.

But is he really an incarnation of a god? Is he an immortal, avenging angel, sent to rally the meek and purge society’s evildoers, or is he still the same con man he always was?

With the both the cops and Matriel hot on Kris’ tail, it’s going to be a wild ride...
