Number Four in the series is the story of Marcus Deveraux, the youngest son of the Atlanta family. Marcus may be the youngest, but he's the toughest and the most driven. Whatever he goes after, he gets and what he wants is Vera Clark Jackson. He fell in love with Vera the first day he met her, but she was happily married. They became best friends and colleagues at The Deveraux Group, where Vera is employed.
