Beautiful Jordan Tidewater is tribal sheriff of the Quinault Indian Nation. As a shaman, she must hear the voices of her ancestors, yet remain an expert in the enforcement of today's law. When confronted with the body of a young boy the age of her son, peculiar markings make her suspect a Native American of the bizarre and brutal murder.
