I was driving to my parents' house for Christmas, navigating the fierce snowstorm that seemed determined to thwart my holiday plans. Just when I thought I could make it, my car slid into a ditch, leaving me stranded and alone. The biting cold seeped into my bones, and panic gripped my chest as I realized I might not be found until it was too late. Just as despair began to settle in, I spotted headlights cutting through the swirling snow. A figure emerged—a tall, rugged man, looking every bit the part of a mountain hermit. He offered me a place to stay at his cabin for the night. Every true crime documentary would have urged me to run, but there was something in his demeanor that held me captive. Maybe it was the way he stood tall against the storm or the warmth in his eyes that promised safety. He had just saved me from freezing to death in the mountains, and in that moment, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was drawn to Noah for more reasons than I could understand.

Noah
The snowstorm raged outside as I headed home to my cabin, the weight of the world on my shoulders. Just as I thought I’d escape the harsh weather alone, I spotted a car stranded in a ditch. My instincts kicked in; I had to help. When she opened the door, I was taken back by the fear in her eyes and how absolutely stunning she was. I offered her a place to stay for the night. Something about her—a spark of resilience amidst her vulnerability—pulled me in. As the storm howled around us, I couldn’t help but wonder if I was her savior or if she might end up saving me instead. In the warmth of my cabin, with the chill of the night behind us, I found myself drawn to her in a way I never expected—I’m going to protect her, care for her, love her, and I don’t plan on letting anything or anyone stop me from having her.
