For Jai and Siya, winning the lottery and escaping poverty is a pipe dream, but by a stroke of luck, they both win a coveted spot aboard Alpha 22, the newest state-of-the-art ship destined for the Alpha Colony. They will travel through space in cryosleep until they reach their destination and their new lives. But they wake too early. The ship is still hurtling through space.
