THE CANCER DIARY
by Norman Spinrad
Updated February 2013
Up front, let me report that I've been cancer free for 3 years. The later entries in this diary were written from my bed in the Memorial Sloane Kettering Hospital in real time. Many people have told me that I should make this diary generally available because it would offer hope and support and maybe even useful knowledge to people in the same existential position. Most notably the surgeon who help saved my life, Dan Coit, and my oncologist David Ilson who did likewise.
So here it is. I don't exactly feel comfortable charging $3.00 for this, but I can't put it on Amazon otherwise.
