An Heir for Ashingby

In 1812, America and Britain are on the brink of war. American-born Sarah Dunthorne is visiting her grandmother in London, where she meets a young heir. Her grandmother is furious and sends Sarah home to her parents, on the same ship as Lord Wrenningham, who is taking reinforcements to Canada. Then war is declared.
