Fortune's Folly

At a ball on the eve of the Great Exhibition in 1851, Tamsin Lucas is kissed by a total stranger. Even more dismaying is his identity - the impoverished David St John, sent as an envoy to London by his cousin Sir Everard Fortune to whom Tamsin is betrothed. Under the terms of her father's will, she will remain a penniless orphan if she does not marry Sir Everard. Now as the dashing envoy shows her the delights of London's Exhibition, Tamsin is torn in two. Will she be forced to renounce a fortune for the man who has so swiftly claimed her heart?
