Fire Season (2022)
Leyna Krow
"Leyna Krow's debut novel, Fire Season, is Karen Russell meets Patrick deWitt meets Katherine Dunn--an edgy, twisty tale of fraudsters, underdogs, and an all-seeing woman who longs to rise above man's greed. Exploding with history, theft, humor, and magic, this incendiary novel is a thrilling addition to the Northwest literary canon."

"This is Raymond Chandler for feminists."

The Unsuitable (2020)
Molly Pohlig
"The Unsuitable is a gruesome, stabby, wincing book about the ways in which women are influenced, hindered, hurt, and taught to hurt themselves. There is a rebellious glee in Iseult's response to the powers that be, and great humor amidst the glittering darkness. This is a comedy of manners marvelously turned upside down."
