After completing a degree in Film and Television Production at S.I.A.D., he was awarded a screenplay bursary with the National Academy of Writing and found employment with the BBC as an Art Director.

He's since become a key contributor to the UK's foremost graphic-novel ideas-factory 2000AD and has written several licensed works for the Black Library and Abaddon Press.

In recent times he has contributed comics scripts to both Marvel and D.C. and has launched Gutsville through Image.

His first non-licensed prose work, Contract, was published by Hodder's Headline Review in 2007.
