Sloane St. James began writing in 2022 after working with romance authors during the pandemic and immediately fell in love with the craft. It combines two of her favorite things, books and getting plowed. She has always been in awe of authors and their ability to pull entire worlds from their minds and assemble them on the page. Though storytelling is new to her, she is working on developing her own "writer's brain".
Her day job is in IT, but at night she stays up late writing about strong, witty females and the dirty-talking men that love them--with a little suspense tossed in wherever she can. As an avid hockey fan, her Lakes Hockey series was a natural place to start and had it's series debut in March 2023.
Sloane lives in the Midwest with her husband and kids. When she's not writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and, of course, reading romance. She is a proud feminist and loves connecting with her readers!
