SEE OUR PHOTOS. This 412-page hardcover was published in 1960 by The University of Missouri Press (1st edition). This is an ex-library edition, with typical library marks and stamps. Otherwise, this volume is in very nice condition, with minor shelf wear on the hardened kelly-green library binding cover. There are several pages with folded creases across page. Mr. Sinclair condensed a lifetime of letters (250,000 in total) from the world's most notable people. This volume contains 300 or so fascinating letters from friends like, Teddy Roosevelt, Gandhi, Mencken, Churchill, George Bernard Shaw, Jack London, Einstein, Thomas Mann, H.G. Wells, D.H. Lawrence, and many others. Overall, a solid, nice looking, usable volume. See our 3 photos of this volume.
