Wildside, Inc, the (mostly) legal team of superhuman mercenaries, returns. Half the team gets sent to South America, hired by an influential entrepreneur to guard a newly discovered archeological site. The rest of them are enmeshed in the hunt for a drug dealer with a deadly new product that can give normals temporary powers, but stands a decent chance of killing the user. As both groups investigate their assignments, they find their cases are related, and then new dangers emerge on both ends. A sleeping god is awakening, and a drug lord is consolidating power in New York. Stretched thin on two continents, Wildside has to stop an ancient power from rising, prevent a new one from seizing control of the drug trade, and figure out how a new arrival in powered armor figures in to everything.
