Boothe's Hollow

It's summer in the sleepy little town of Mercy Massachusetts. For eight-year-old Olivia West and her two best friends Louisa and Jake Gilbert it should mean ice cream sundaes at Miz Willow's scoop'n'shake, playing pirates down by the caves, endless hikes through the woods and skinny dipping at the lake on the shores of her grandmother's old rambling stick style house. But as the long summer days drag on Olivia has no idea that the town has been rocked to its very foundations by a string of vicious and violent murders. All she knows is that her parents are fighting again. Sent to stay with her grandmother and great aunt for the summer, at the house by the lake, she finds new and ingenious ways to get into trouble. It's all harmless fun until suddenly something in the woods begins to stir. She can feel it. Whatever it is, it's very old and its calling to her. It wants her to come and play...
