The Warrior's Way

Changed, full of purpose and determination, Atolli returns home, only to find that his goals could not be achieved as easily as he hoped. The Great Tepanec Capital is full of political intrigue, a dangerous ground to tread even for his influential father, Tecpatl, now the Emperor's Adviser. Eager to help his son, Tecpatl discovers that politics could be a more difficult ground than a battlefield.

While struggling to achieve their aims, Tecpatl, Atolli, his mother, and even his younger brother find themselves on different, unexpected paths, each determined to solve their problems in their own way.
