As the CEO of Level Up Games, Inc., I get the credit when everything goes right for the company...and when everything goes wrong.
The board of directors has informed that I need to have a pitch ready for the next amazing game from Level Up...problem is, I don't have the first idea what to do.
My prayers are all but answered when a random email falls into my inbox–it's a pitch from a junior designer for a video game...and it's amazing. I just have no idea who Melanie Charles is.
But when she arrives at my office, I learn it's a mistake. She never meant to send the email.
Too bad for her–her new assignment is working closely with me for the next several weeks to perfect this pitch, because she might have just saved the company.
She's not afraid to tell me like it, and she's not afraid to argue with me. No one's ever talked to me this way before...but I find it refreshing and so, so sexy.
The lines between boss and subordinate are starting to blur...because even after this pitch is over, I can't let her walk out of my life.
