A Cyborg for Christmas

A single mother does her best to provide for her daughter on a rural homestead in post apocalyptic America. She isn't thinking about Christmas while she works to stack enough firewood on her back porch before the snow gets too deep. She signed up for a cyborg mate hoping a husband would make life better for both of them. A year later, she thinks it will never happen. When a message comes through on the communications tablet the other cyborgs had brought her, she is thrilled and terrified. Will he be the man she hoped?
