Growing up, my first exposure to bikers was thanks to my older brother who ignored my school rival’s threats to take care of him if he abused me again. That’s where I met Ghoul, the president of the Cleveland, Ohio chapter of the Royal Bastards MC and that’s also where I earned my name.

Even after I moved to Roanoke, Virginia, I would make the trip back and visit my old friends who were part of my ‘found’ family, so to speak. On one of those trips, I met Belle for the first time. But, she was off limits for multiple reasons; for starters, when we first met, she was still a minor so I didn’t even think of her as anything more than Sleeper’s annoying kid sister. Even as the years passed and I went from being a member of the Roanoke Raiders MC to a member of a much larger brotherhood, the Royal Bastards, Roanoke, VA chapter, she was still just Sleeper’s sister.

Until the night he called me because she had been taken along with her best friend. Since our club was closest, I headed out to the coordinates they had of her last position, then continued my search, never expecting to be faced with something another of our chapters was dealing with out west.

Belle may be slightly bent but she’s not broken and now that she’s an adult, I plan to show her that she’s something else — mine. I just have to hope that her brother decides not to kill me.

**Suitable for 18+ due to adult content, language, and situations**
