Everything I’ve ever cared for was ripped away from me.
My seat as president…gone.
My woman… married to someone else.
My clubhouse…burned to ash.
I’ve given up everything for my club but I rarely get anything in return.
Now we’re finally back on the mend, a new compound to be built and nothing to worry about.
That is until, Coca, one of our club girls tells me about a woman who doesn’t belong here. One who might need our help.
What should it matter to me if this woman has no one to run to. I can’t get too attached. Can’t let another person into my heart only to have them rip it out all over again.
Staying away from Angela is harder than I want it to be. Especially when every time she looks at me it feels like she’s peering straight into my soul.
