A L Tate

Amber Tate, pen name, A.L. Tate has been writing since she was twelve years old. Her love for writing didn't start until she found herself having to re-evaluate her career goals. Growing up, she like many children wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, but the sight of blood wasn't something that she could stomach. Because of her way of thinking, she started looking for another career goal at the age of eleven. Finding herself having to draw the picture for a book report that was due. With the motivation from one of her older brothers, she realized that the gift of drawing was within her fingertips. After a few months of drawing various pictures, she realized that drawing wasn't a passion that she enjoyed.

Now, A.L. Tate has always been a vivid dreamer since the day she can remember understanding those images that played out in her REM sleep. One night, she went to sleep and had a dream that captivated her mind and when she woke up, she chose to write it down. Adding to the story, she found that it was something that came to her easy and captivated her audience. Over the years, she has written several stories and despite others telling her to get published. She never stepped out on faith until 2019. After encountering a coworker who said some words to motivate her to reach for that goal.

She released her first published installment Savagely Yours in March of 2019. Since then, she has captivated her peers with her ability to bring her characters to life and is still going hard. Her favorite genres are urban fiction, urban paranormal, horror, erotica and romance. A.L. Tate was born in Pennsylvania but raised in South Carolina and currently resides in Concord, NC with her husband, three kids and two dogs.
