Magic and Mayhem
A strange black-garbed marauder plagues the folk of the pavilion city of Bazuur. Treasure-seeking drifter Risgan falls afoul of the menace and launches himself on a quixotic mission to end the villain's depredations, especially in light of the kickbacks offered by the city guard.
Risgan's picaresque adventures take him far across the lands of Upper Fandria where he battles stone giants, monster isks and warring tribes, where nothing is at it seems, and everything is ruled by the law of the jungle.
"I loved this story and all the characters in it. Risgan and his companions are a very entertaining crowd. Their wordplay is awesome and amusing. It is definitely worth the time to read this story!"
