The Banshee's Walk
Markhat knows all about banshees. They portend death, don’t wear a lot of clothes, and, most importantly in Markhat’s mind, they don’t exist.
But for a fee, Markhat is willing to believe in just about anything. So he sets out for the Banshee’s Walk, an isolated estate well beyond Rannit’s ancient walls. There, deep in a haunted forest, Markhat comes face to face with something much worse than a mere banshee. Something that can raise the dead. Something waking from a fitful slumber.
Will the next name the banshee calls be Markhat’s?
