Earth was blacked out, rumors flew that there were aliens in the mid-Pacific. People who claimed the blackouts were caused by aliens were called conspiracy theorists; others said it was all fake news. The leaders of Russia, China, the EU, the UK, and America knew the truth, as did the Secretary-General of the UN.
The truth was we weren’t alone out there. The truth was the aliens had visited Earth over a hundred thousand years ago. They help modify the DNA of early humans. The aliens mixed their DNA with the early humans as they did with the Neanderthals, the human’s cousins. The aliens were locked in a war for over a hundred thousand years.
The war came to Earth when the Hosen, the alien’s enemy followed the empire’s ship to Earth. The Hosen used a weapon that caused the alien’s capital on Earth, Atlantis, to sink. In the battle, the empire ship managed to destroy the Hosen, but before they were destroyed, the Hosen managed to trap the empire’s ship under thousands of tons.
An earthquake shifted the massive boulders that had held the empire’s ship under the Pacific. Once free, the ship managed to send a message to their home planet. The emperor replied help was on the way
The alien commander was promoted to the empire’s highest military rank, Fist of the emperor. There had only be eleven previous Fists in the history of the empire, which existed for over two hundred thousand years.
The alien commander used a demonstration of raw power to show the Earth leaders they couldn’t stand up to the aliens. They destroyed one of Earth’s largest cities. When the smoke cleared, the city lay in smoking ruins with a death toll that exceeded eight million. The Earth leaders realized they didn’t know how to fight the aliens. They were shocked when a wormhole was opened on the dark side of the moon and an alien battleship exited and took up a stationary orbit on the moon’s dark side. The battleship was five miles long by three miles thick ringed with weapon turrets.
The Alien’s original plan for humans was to be slaves, mining heavy metals and gold for the empire. The Fist managed to convince the emperor of the empire that humans had a greater value than simply to be slaves. He told the emperor there were enough humans to mine the required metals while millions would become the empire’s ground forces in the war with the Hosen.
The Fist sent a summary of how the Earth nations battle, the commander of his support battle fleet used the information to destroy a Hosen battlefleet without losing a single ship.
The Fist gave the Earth an ultimatum, ‘join the empire or die.��� The American President, tapped by the Fist to become the leader of a united Earth planned how to defeat the alien threat by getting access to their technology. The war of wits was on.
