Lizbet Lange, a newly wealthy ex-truckstop waitress, just wants a swimming pool in the backyard of her mansion. Sounds simple enough, but things get complicated in a hurry when the workmen dig up a human skeleton. First, the cops show up. Then Charlie shows up, but not exactly in the flesh -- only Lizbet can see him. Charlie says those are his bones in her backyard. And then things get really complicated because Charlie expects Lizbet to solve the mystery surrounding his murder back in 1969, a murder the cops say never happened.

"Charlie's Bones by L. L. Thrasher is an engaging, fast-paced, light-hearted mystery by the author of Cat's-Paw, Inc... - Lansing (MI) State Journal
