Lisa Thompson spent many years in radio production at BBC Radio 2, and as a freelancer, making plays and comedy shows for Radio 4.Her debut Middle Grade novel, The Goldfish Boy, was published in the UK & US by Scholastic in 2017, and was shortlisted for the New Children’s Fiction Award 2017.
