Dire Straits
1991. Derek Stillwater, fresh out of Army Special Forces, is on his first undercover mission for the CIA - to determine if a Cuban drug company is a front for biological weapons. Soon Derek is on the run from Cuban intelligence with only one avenue of escape - a stolen kayak, heading into the teeth of a storm on the Straits of Cuba.
Gravedigger
1992. The Soviets have fled Afghanistan. Derek Stillwater is sent by the CIA into the country to find and identify what the Russians may have left behind - chemical weapons. Teamed with an Army general and an Israeli Mossad agent, the three find themselves caught in a country with no government, torn apart by war, being fought over by ruthless warlords and mujahideen.
The Wuhan Affair
2020. At the request of the NSC and the CIA, Derek Stillwater enters Wuhan, China under an assumed identity. His mission: Work with CIA agent Monaco Grace to find a missing Wuhan Institute of Virology scientist and to determine if the COVID-19 virus that is beginning to rage around the rest of the world originated naturally or came out of the Institute.
