Mark Twain's Sketches

(1874)
A collection of stories by

This edition was also known as the "Copyright Edition" and was first published in 1872 (not to be confused with "SKETCHES, NEW ANS OLD" 1875). Mark Twain released it to compete with the four pirate books; "MEMORANDA", "EYE OPENERS", "SCREAMERS" & "A CURIOUS DREAM AND OTHER SKETCHES" that had been published in England. The Copyright Edition actually was edited and revised by Samuel Clemens and contains no stories falsely attributed to him. And he received royalties. This is not a bunch of scanned pages. It has been digitized and edited (not for content) to appear as closely as possible to the original printed edition as possible within the confines of the Kindle Format. This book contains the following 66 sketches:
