Ginny Silklander was born with a silver spoon in her mouth: her family is landed, titled, indisputably privileged. But Ginny is both beautiful and ambitious and uses her considerable talents to succeed in the business world of public relations.Her path to success seems straightforward until fate introduces her to entrepreneur extraordinaire Simeon Varga, a man with a past that he is careful to conceal. However she is so captivated by his magnetism that she jettisons the man she is to marry - the sort of person with a similar background to hers. Simeon too is drawn to Ginny, but for different reasons. He finds her physically attractive but above all he sees how useful her pedigree can be to him, opening doors and lending him the veneer of respectability he has always craved.Ginny soon joins his growing organization and becomes indispensable to him. His increasing wealth enables them to lead a glamorous lifestyle that is envied by many. Together it seems they are unbeatable, but eventually Simeon's murky past catches up with him.
