A brand new Western adventure from Paul L. Thompson!

Martin Riggs was a hard-working, fifty-five-year-old, debt free dirt farmer. He and his wife, Maggie Jean, homesteaded this farm. She was the love of his life.
His son, Norman, and daughter, Rose Lea, were both grown and married. Rose Lea and her husband owned and ran the general supply store and did fairly well.
Norman and his wife owned the small farm right across the creek from his father and mother. They saw each other several times a week, even had meals together, most times supper so they could sit and talk.
One morning, Norman saw his dad staring off toward the distant mountains just a few miles from that farm. Their cattle grazed the low hills. ‘What’s on your mind, Pop?’
‘The day I get rich, is the day I stop farming.’
‘And that will be about when, do you think?’
‘Any day, Son, just any day now.’
Norman laughed. ‘And I’ve heard they’ll hang a fellow for robbing a bank.’
‘Spect they would, unless it was my own bank.’
