The first Western adventure in a brand new series from Peter Alan Turner!

Recently fired Chicago police detective Zeke Randolph hadn’t heard from his brother Charles in two years. But when a letter arrives asking Zeke for help dealing with a large cattle rancher threatening his small ranch, Zeke heads west to Wyoming.

Arriving in the small town of Lost Springs, Zeke finds himself smack dab in the middle of a dispute concerning a railroad right of way. Hoping to avoid a range war, Zeke quickly discards his city dudes for a Stetson and boots but not his big-city police skills.

The situation goes from bad to worse as gunslingers hired by Donald MacDonald come gunning for Zeke and Charles. The dispute spirals into a battle between MacDonald and his Cattlemen’s Association and the small ranchers. Vastly outnumbered, the Randolph brothers and their neighbors are determined to stand their ground for the final showdown.

Can Zeke and Charles defeat MacDonald and his hired guns? Will Zeke’s surprise package save the day? Or will the cavalry arrive in time to prevent a massacre?
