Priyanka Taslim is a writer, teacher, and lifelong New Jersey resident.Having grown up in a bustling Bangladeshi diaspora community, surrounded by her mother’s entire clan and many aunties of no relation, her writing often features families, communities, and all the drama therein.
Currently, Priyanka teaches by day and tells all kinds of stories about Bangladeshi characters by night. Her writing usually stars spunky Bengali heroines finding their place in the world...and a little swoony romance, too. THE LOVE MATCH, out January 2023 from Salaam Reads, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, is her debut YA novel.

Four Eids and a Funeral (2024)
Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé and Adiba Jaigirdar
"Hilarious and heartfelt, this young adult romance about ex-best friends thrown back together to save their local Islamic center---and perhaps their fractured relationship---is a charming collaboration between two of the best Muslim authors in contemporary YA. Àbíké-Íyímídé and Jaigirdar are a dream team!"
The Search for Us (2023)
Susan Azim Boyer
"A heartfelt and poignant quest for self-discovery by an author to watch. Readers will relate deeply to both siblings, whose dual narratives describe complicated familial bonds with nuance and compassion as they seek out their estranged father. At once deeply tender, authentically messy, and ultimately brimming with hope, The Search for US will captivate till the last page."
Last Chance Dance (2023)
Lakita Wilson
"Fun, fast-paced, and laugh-out-loud funny, Last Chance Dance will throw readers right back into the final few weeks of their senior year. You can't help but to root for Leila as she picks up the pieces of her broken heart and embarks on a delightful mission to find new love before graduation."
