Terror visits the idyllic little town of Flannel, Oregon, when a body is discovered on the pool table of a prominent bus bench writer. Soon Flannel’s eclectic young doctor, Milo Bushnell is on the case along with his new-old love, Macy Dixon (who left him standing at the alter several years ago to marry the pool boy, but then divorced him when they argued over which of her clothes they would wear one night). Soon the truth becomes apparent, Flannel is being invaded by Brussels sprouts from space, ill-tempered little vegetables that metamorphose into not-so-exact duplicates of Flannel’s citizenry. Can Milo and Macy save the day, or are they just dead meat in a vegan world?
